HIV is a deadly and life-threatening virus that causes AIDS and it is a very serious matter that should not be taken as if it does not exist.
HIV/AIDS is not curable but there are treatments available out there to control the virus. As with our latest advancements in technology, there is now a treatment available where you could reach the undetectable status and go on living your lives normally.
As there are no cures for it, it is better if we practice safe sex, or much better abstinence from it, but the most important of all, we should seek education so you can know all about it even the smallest details.
Discrimination still exists and still flourishes up to this moment especially towards PLHIV; we still see them as dirty persons and show them pity but what we should do is to show them compassion and human warmth.
God loves us all regardless of who we are and what we have and we too shall imitate God’s goodness especially to those who are in need and to those who are in despair.
With all of these being said, for people with HIV’s, we should see them as human more than their disease, let us look all the way through their personality not their disease, and as I reiterate again, let us be more mindful and compassionate, please be kind every day, always seek education, and think of them as HUMANS.
