A person’s individual culture is the result of numerous aspects of their life

A person’s individual culture is the result of numerous aspects of their life: their upbringing, where they grew up, their religious background, their personal genetics, etc. As a Keralite, I am very pleased with my way of life and I am very much connected to the customs of my State. The thing that I like or do not like is affected by my culture. Whether it be the values, customs, my mentality, food etc which has already been set. Being a Keralite I was raised in many ways simpler.
The principles and knowledge past down to me from my child age begin with family and manners which has great importance in Kerala Culture. Having good etiquette, especially with the people outside your family is very important. In my Culture many times the whole family is being judged by how just one member behaves. So the general idea in Kerala culture is to give out respect in order to receive respect back from others which I have applied to every event of my life. Being raised with family values is an influential element not only on deciding what is best for me but for the family also. The family is very important to every Keralite and because of that everyone wants the best for the family so each decision taken by an individual is basically is for their family. The thing that I like or do not like is affected by my culture. Whether it be the values, customs, my mentality, food etc which has already been set.
